DayDreamer Domes

I wanted to love my time at the DayDreamer Domes, and I do love the concept. Unfortunately, the execution of this concept was less than desirable and needs much more refinement in order to live up to what their website boasts. There were many simple design "flaws" that could be easily corrected both outside and inside of the domes, but the major issues were: 1. The only view we had for most of the time we were there were other domes being worked on. 2. There was no where to sit and enjoy the outside. The only places on the entire property to sit were beside the pool, on the deck area, or at the firepit. You couldn't smoke at the pool, you couldn't drink alcohol at the deck area, and the firepit was about a 1/4 mile from the domes. There were no paths or lights out to the firepit. There were no chairs at all for you to sit outside your dome and enjoy visiting or enjoying a drink. 3. The A/C would automatically reset to 72 every few hours. When it reset, it would start blowing heat. In a heat wave, we had to constantly be turning the A/C back on, even in the middle of the night. 4. The website states that the property is 21+ Friday through Sunday. As a teacher, I try to plan vacations where younger children are not going to be. There were children of all ages at the pool and on the property all weekend. I even asked if they would be gone on Saturday and was told they would. Yet, all day Saturday, there were children, including the owners children.

We stayed here for two nights. The Staff was great and very accommodating. The domes are decorated nicely and very comfortable. Lots to do in the area and the pool is very nice. Highly recommend a stay here for a truly unique experience you will not be disappointed.

Loved every minute of it!! Missy and Danielle are awesome!! Very professional, attentive and super cool! My wife and I did a 3 day stay to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary and really glad we chose this place. The pool surrounded by artificial turf was perfectly clean and comfortable to walk around in bare feet. The dome was very clean, more spacious than we expected and everything looked new. Shower and tub were excellent. Bed very comfy. Had a great time at the fire pit each night with a great surrounding of woods to enjoy all the birds, squirrel's, etc that joined the party. We will definitely return!!!

I recently made a phone call to Daydreamer Domes after finding them as a fellow member of our local Chamber of Commerce. Upon answering the phone, I began to tell her who I was and that I found them on the Chamber Board. I had called from my work on my lunch break, so she already figured, before even answering, I was trying to sell something. She interrupted me, told me she didn't have time for me, and she hung up on me. Sucks to be her because I was calling to schedule two weekend bachelorettes get aways. The money she could have made on all these people. Not only did she lose a big sale by being rude, but I also recommend people to stay away.

More Dome, please! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! It was a fun and unique experience and I look forward to returning in the future. I loved the dome- cool layout/design in the space and it’s obvious a lot of time and love was put into the creation of this property. Great communication from owner as well as very warm and welcoming. Also- I highly recommend a float session!

The property is very unique. We never staying in a dome before. It was a pretty cool experience!
